Mr. Burgess currently serves the Martin Luther High School community as: 
    - Assistant Principal 
    - Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Financial Aid 
    - Supervisor of Student Attendance and Discipline 
    - Coordinator of Substitute Teachers 
    - Head Football Coach

Mr. Burgess attended Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois where he completed his undergraduate work (B.S. in Elementary & Secondary Education - Physical Education and History) as well as his graduate work (M.A. in School Administration).

Mr. Burgess came to Martin Luther High School in January of 1981 as a Theology and Physical Education teacher. He came to also serve as Physical Education Department Head, Staff Development Committee member, Summer Program Director, Athletic Trainer, and coach of football, basketball, baseball and track & field.
