Transportation
Students living in the Milwaukee Public and West Allis Public School Districts and needing bus transportation use the public bus system.
Students who reside in the Whitnall School District receive free bus service to and from Martin Luther High School
Students who reside in Franklin, Greenfield, some areas of Greendale, Muskego-Norway, New Berlin, Oak Creek-Franklin, and the West Allis-West Milwaukee et.al school district are eligible for transportation reimbursement in lieu of bussing.
We have a large parking lot for students driving their own cars. Students must register their cars and pay a one time fee of $5.00.
The building is open at 6:45 A.M. If you think transportation may be a problem, please contact Mrs. Shari Gastrow, principal's secretary, in the school office. Shari will be happy to assist with car pool information.
BUS TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT
School districts which do not offer bussing to Martin Luther are required, by Wisconsin law, to offer transportation reimbursement. The Milwaukee and West Allis school districts do not offer reimbursement, because these students have access to the Milwaukee Transit System.
Families requesting transportation reimbursement must complete the Bus Transportation/Reimbursement Application. Please return the application to the office by May 1.
