Inspired by the rich academic foundation laid by Spartan alumni, the Honors Academy at Martin Luther builds on the robust College Prep curriculum by offering rigorous courses, prestigious university visits, ACT preparation, and leadership opportunities.  This program empowers students to maximize their academic potential and prepares them to apply at top-tier universities.

Freshman Seminar

The Freshman Seminar at Martin Luther is a required course designed to help students develop essential skills for high school success and beyond. It covers a range of practical topics, including test-taking strategies, organizational skills, time management, and effective group work. Students also regularly check their grades to stay on top of their academic progress. Additionally, two days a week are dedicated to computer applications, where students learn valuable skills in keyboarding, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, providing a strong foundation in both academic and technical abilities.
