CHOICE PROGRAM

Martin Luther High School participates in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Racine Choice Programs

A note from your ML Choice Coordinator:

In order to serve our Spartan Families better, we have a specific process to follow to complete your Choice verification.  Some forms for new students must be completed in person, however you can complete part of the process online.  Please follow the steps below and click on the big yellow button below for Choice Handbook Acknowledgement.  Reading the handbook will help you to better understand the Choice program at Martin Luther High School.  It will then prompt you to schedule an appointment to bring the required items, including proof of residency and income (even if it is not required by DPI, we do require proof of income for all new students).  All of this can be done from your smartphone or on a computer.  We look forward to meeting you!

Choice Programs:

Martin Luther High School participates in three of the State of Wisconsin tuition assistance programs called Private School Choice Programs.  These programs allow families who meet the household income requirements to have their tuition partially or fully funded by the state.   Interested families must complete an online application through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) along with their verification of current income level and residency.

Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP):
The Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) offers renewable assistance through the State of Wisconsin for Milwaukee residents.  MPCP allows families who meet certain income levels to have their tuition partially or fully funded by the state.  To qualify for this program you must live in the City of Milwaukee and you must meet these income requirements: 2020-21 Income Limits.  Families who fall into the lower MPCP income bracket have their tuition balance 100% funded by the state.  Families who fall into the higher income bracket have over 70% of the Martin Luther High School tuition funded by the state (this income bracket is referred to as the MPCP 220 program).

Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP):
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) offers assistance for students who live outside of the cities of Milwaukee or Racine.  To qualify for this program you must live outside the cities of Milwaukee and Racine and you must meet these income requirements: 2020-21 Income Limits

Racine Parental Choice Program (RPCP):  The Racine Parental Choice Program (RPCP) offers assistance through the State of Wisconsin for Racine residents.  To qualify for this program you must live in the City of Racine and you must meet these income requirements: 2020-21 Income Limits
